The climate in the Augusta Margaret River Region is mediterranean/maritime, with mild winters and temperate summers. Due to the proximity to two oceans and the Blackwood and Margaret River temperatures above 32 degrees are rare in summer, and temperatures in winter vary anywhere between a minimum of 11 degrees and a maximum of 18 degrees, making for favourable weather throughout most of the year. Most rainfall occurs between the months of April and October with an annual average rainfall of 982mm.
